SarahAahoo Jansouzshahi (10 January 1980) is better known as Sarah Shahi, an American model and actress. She played Carmen in the TV show The L Word in 2005, Kate Reed in the USA Network legal drama Fairly Legal (2011-2012) and Sameen Shaw on the CBS crime drama Person of Interest (2012-2016). Also, she has been in the role of as Det. Dani Reese in Life,[3] and in a supporting role in Alias. [4] She was a star in Reverie in the year 2018. She was a frequent character in the show City on a Hill on Showtime in 2019[55. She was also a part of seven episodes of The Rookie playing the role of Jessica Russo in the romantic interest Jessica Russo. Shahi met Robert Altman on the set Dr. T and the Women In Texas. In the set, she was invited to make the move to Hollywood and was cast in Alias as well as Dawson's Creek. The second season featured her in the support role for DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales, on The L Word in 2005. Shahi's two-year contract with the show was not renewed after the end of the fourth season, and her character was written off.
