It was a clear indication that she was in a new pop world where she fit in. In the end, when she refocused her music by releasing stripped-down albums like 2020, folklore, and Evermore, she still remained at the top. This position was maintained by re-recordings from her past catalogue as along with Midnights which was her chart-topping synth heavy 2022 album.
